Schauspiel auf Deutsch
A professional acting program taught entirely in German and open to all students over 18. Auditions open in September of every year.
Programme Structure
Students work with classic, modern and contemporary German texts. The year is divided into 3 modules:
- Module 1 : Contemporary explorations : students explore the driving forces behind theatrical creation ; they become familiar with contemporary texts and begin their investigation of the realistic style
- Module 2 : Classical and modern repertoire – students manage presentations of scenes from the modern and/or classical repertoire and the interpretations of songs
- Module 3 : Collective creations - students prepare a public performance. The module comprises a journey through a complete play, including dramaturgical research, combining several disciplines such as singing, dancing and music

- Work on vocal techniques and diction
- Stimulate imagination and creativity
- Practice Improvisations
- Acquire autonomy in artistic research
- Understand theatrical expression as a collective and team act
- Experience performing in German in front of an audience
- Increase familiarity with classic and contemporary German dramatic literature
Guestspeakers and masterclasses are also available to students to allow exchange with well-known theater and cinema personalities.
After successfully completing the program, students receive a Cours Florent certificate.

Tuition & Fees
Tuition & Fees - EU STUDENTS
EU-residents : 6 100€ (1st Year)
Fees include:
- annual registration fees and program fees for the Acting In English program (main program of 9h of "interpretation class" / week)
Not included:
- French Language Class (additional annual fees of 1.730€)
- Technical Classes, extra classes to enhance and supplement the core curriculum
Tuition & Fees - NON EU STUDENTS
Non-EU residents : 8 875 € (1st Year)
Fees include a total package of the following classes:
- Main Acting In English Interpretation Class (9h / week)
- Technical classes (up to 6h/ week)
- French language class (6h/ week)
Additional Information
Enroll in extra workshops and technical classes in English or in French to expand your acting toolkit ! Choose from improvisation, voice work, dance, and more, tailoring your training to suit your artistic preferences.
Acting courses in different languages in the heart of Paris
Cours Florent offers a unique opportunity to study acting in several languages in preparation for an international career. Our students are fortunate to be studying at an established institution, located in a European capital with a vibrant creative industry, all exclusively in English.
Not only that, we are proud to provide French as a Foreign Language courses. These are designed specifically for Cours Florent students and - once they have mastered the language - ultimately grant access to parallel acting classes in French.
Subject to assessment of language skills, students may also follow similar parallel courses in German and/or Spanish (six hours in each language).
Completing a professional acting training course in different languages opens up a wide range of possibilities for their future professional lives. However, it’s important to remember that the aim is not necessarily to achieve perfection in a foreign language, but, rather, to work on clarity and freedom of expression in a multitude of languages.
Settling in Paris
As busy metropolitan city, it can be difficult to find housing in Paris. As such, we have a created several partnerships with organisations which specialise in sourcing accommodation, and which give preferential agreements to Cours Florent students.
To make your arrival in Paris as smooth as possible, the school organises an induction week during which students receive organisational tips and advice on life in France and at our school. Additionally, a number of student employment agencies, present their activities to those students interested in supplementing their studies with part-time work.
A wide range of events are organised to establish a school community and encourage peer support and solidarity. It is our great wish that your stay in Paris becomes an unforgettable experience.
